Ganth Gobi

Ganth gobi is known as Kohlrabi in english. Kohlrabi is a staple vegetable of the Germans and it has originated from German words: Kohl meaning “cabbage” and rabi meaning “turnip”. It belongs to the cruciferous family. It is extremely high in nutrients, vitamins like vitamin C, B complex vitamins, vitamin A, vitamin K; minerals like copper, potassium, manganese, iron, and calcium; fiber, phytochemicals, carotenoids and antioxidants.  It has amino acids like tryptophan, threonine, isoleucine, leucine and lysine.
